January 29

I was prescribed anti-depressants almost two months ago.
My psychologist asked me again on wednesday if I thought the medication was working. "Last time," she said, "you seemed unsure, I get the idea that you don’t think it is."
To this I replied, "Well it’s not that I don’t think it’s working, but I’m reluctant to answer because, well how would I know if it was working? No one prescribed it to me and said you’ll know it’s working when you feel like this. They were just like ‘you need to take this.’ So now I obviously can’t tell you if it’s working because I don’t know, I can only tell you how I feel and how I’m different." We have come to the conclusion that it is having the desired effects. It’s working.
